The club participated in this years AIDS Walk Colorado. Over eight thousand people attended this years event, and they estimate they raised over 400K dollars!
The Colorado AIDS Project gave us a space where we were able to set up an information booth about the club. Dick lent us a canopy to protect us from the the sun. Scott put together a nice trifold information brochure, and Clyde & Allan put their bikes on display in the booth.
The club recognizes the need for it to be more open, welcoming and flexible. Participating in community events such as AIDS Walk is a good opportunity for people to meet and talk with club members and learn about the club. It's much easier to join and maintain membership in the club than it use to be.
