Easter ride to Greeley

A few club members decided to celebrate Easter by getting together and going for a ride. Todd, Camron, Ken and Clyde met in Cheesmen park then rode north on I-25 to highway 52 where we met up with Dick at the Kum-N-Go.

We continued east on highway 52 through Fort Lupton then turned north on county road 41. We stayed on the county roads until we reached La Salle. We stopped in La Salle for a few minutes to wait for a train to pass.

We rode on to Greeley where we had a late breakfast at the Country Inn. A few other bikers who were out for a ride pulled into the Inn while we were there.

After breakfast we took US-85 back to Denver and The Denver Wrangler for the Sunday beer bust. Round trip was 127 miles.

It's not the destination it's the ride. It's great to get on the road, feel the exhilaration of the ride, take in the sights, sounds and smells of the country, and to be with friends you enjoy.

I (Clyde) recorded the whole trip on video; I'll post some of it if it's any good.
